Vintage Beehive Embroidery Kit

Based on the vintage beehive embroidery transfers that are so readily found in charity shops and at vintage fairs, this little beehive uses a handful of very simple stitches with a focus on colour, texture and movement to create a little floral scene.

With tiny bees, foxgloves and a vintage skep it is a lovely piece to stitch for both beginners and advanced stitchers.

Hand-printed onto antique linen with full instructions the kit is presented in a beautiful folder in which to keep your work.

You will also need:

An embroidery hoop (10 or 15 cm), a selection of crewel or embroidery needles and a small (sharp) embroidery scissors (these can all be found in our shop)

A complementing kit comprising a set of three honey jar lid covers is currently in production, for the bee and honey enthusiasts out there!
